By far the most challenging class I have EVER taken. The workout is genius in my mind. We as humans don’t move in just one plane so why workout that way? Alonzo Founder, Director of Training covers all the bases - ALL the bases. You start out with a team chant - which I’m not gonna lie intimidated me a little bit at 1st but now having been to Tone House several times you can’t shut me up. It creates a team environment and just straight up get you hype. You move then to the warm-up - what??? I mean...the 1st time I took the class I know I saw stars during this warm-up - running forward, running laterally, dropping to the floor, jumping - again what? Then we moved on to the actual workout. It was like the doors to a fitness store had opened - so much equipment - The Harness, TRX, RIP trainer, ropes, Valslides, band, Plyometric Boxes, sandbags - the works. I have been more than a dozen times now and the exercises constantly change - never a dull moment. While working out you literally feel if you are working out on a team - so much support. There are many fitness levels in the room but its still one team working together helping you make it to the thru the class. Such an awesome feeling!!! Towards the end of class we finish up with some variation sprints - knackered yes but some how you find the energy to hit the deck and when Alonzo yells “and go!!!” you are able to dig deep and get the energy to hall ass - not gonna lie this might be my favorite part - oh yes I channeled my inner Flo-Jo. On their website they say “WE PROMISE TO DELIVER IN CLASS: Innovative, Dynamic, Challenging, Fun, Results-Oriented Workouts “ and they deliver. Who’s House??? Tone House - fo sho!!!

I had been WAITING for this to open up. I saw a deal on Gilt City and DONE - purchased a package for EVF 360 and Row House (which I have yet to use - its so damn far). I freelance sometimes in the area so I figured I could go after work. Tried doing it on a day off and coming form Brooklyn was way too much - I was late and had to do burpees. Ok on to the actual workout which I have to say I really like. High intensity full body times drills for an hour - LOVE!!! I have been 3 times now and the workout was different every time. I have to say that the best thing about the workout is the attention to detail from the coaches. Form, form, form - so good! So many times I have been to class and there is no attention paid to form - I don’t use Kettlebells often so...um please let me know where the power is coming from. I also don’t row often either but during one of my classes there one of the coaches was right along side me letting me know where the power needed to come from first and helping me with my rhthym - she wasn’t concerned how much time I was taking to get it she wanted to make sure that I was being safe 1st and foremost and that I was using the proper muscles. I will be freelancing in the area again soon and plan to finish up my last 2 classes and then hit Row House - stay tuned for that!
