Ok so it’s gonna seem like I got a lot of stuff and…ummmmm maybe I did! All necessary purchases though – well maybe not the 3 pairs of sneakers but…I have a few more items that I would like to get since summer time is coming.

1. Zara Premium Collection Sweatshirt and Low-Rise Skinny Fit Power Stretch Jeans – Zara – I really wanted an outfit for my first day of this gig that I just got. It was a gig that revolved around fitness so I wanted to keep it casual. I did my pre-shopping online – Zara. Made sure that the Zara I decided to go to carried the items I liked. Took screenshots and then headed to the store. It was a weekend so I knew it would most likely be busy and I wanted to be prepared. I dunno know but to me Zara has some pretty damn cute stuff out now. I wanted something bright originally but of course I couldn’t find the bright orange sweatshirt I liked – the internet lied. After finding pretty much everything I came to try on (except for that cute ass bright orange sweatshirt – still hurt about that!) I headed to the dressing room. I already braced myself for the chances of a long line and…I wasn’t disappointed…long ass line. This is the outfit I decided on. I’ve never tried Zara’s jeans. I now assume most stores I go into that their jeans won’t fit (small waist + big ass = gap in the back) but I was so surprised with this pair – fit perfectly. I’ve also never been one for fake rips – I’d like to think I earned the rips or that they happened more organically but I now I own two pairs of jeans with these rips – ha! I’ve been back on the site and now that I know that their jeans fit and the price is right ummmm…it may become a problem. The sweatshirt wasn’t something that I took a screenshot of but it caught my eye right off the bat. Pink makes me happy – really happy! And I’m digging the puffy sleeves. Just hate that it’s about to get warm and I might only get a few more wears out of it – might make a cute cover up tho!

2. the slim boyjean: raw-hem edition – Madewell – My dream is to find the perfect pair of boyfriend jeans. I love the look of them – just nice and cozy but…I’m not sure it they are exactly the right cut for my body type and I also have yet to find a pair that fits right due to my small waist and big ass (not complaining at all). The girl who helped me with my shoes was wearing these jeans and they fit her the way that I would like for them to fit me – so cute. I took 2 sizes into the dressing room – my size and a bigger size. Tried the bigger size on first and they fit the way that I wanted them to visually – that nice cozy look but keeping them up would be annoying and even if I did wear a belt the pants themselves would be bunched up – no bueno! I then slipped on my size and…they didn’t fit like boyfriend jeans – at all – they just fit but I have to say they sure were freakin cute. My lesson here is that I am looking for boyfriend jeans to fit me like they fit the sales person or like the model in the magazine or online and…I don’t have the same type body so…not saying that I’ll never find them but maybe its me just finding “my” version of them. I love them!!!

3. vans® unisex classic slip-on sneakers in mint leather – Madewell – The color…that’s all I’m gonna say!!!

4. vans® unisex sk8-hi slim high-top sneakers in perforated leather – Madewell – So last year (maybe the year before) I got a pair of white crackled leather Hi-top Vans and…time for a new updated pair!!! The perforated top is so good!
