Splurge
All I have to say is at least they aren’t Vans. They’re sneakers yes but...they aren’t Van so...hush! So happy with my sneaker purchases...so happy!
1. Nike Roshe - So these weren’t the sneakers that I originally brought but I am so happy that these are the ones that I ended up keeping. One weekend I was on a serious “I want red sneakers kick”. I had seen the Puma ads on the train and thats pretty much what started it all. After training a client I headed out on my mission. Funny thing is the ad was a Puma ad and I ended up with Adidas - not even really aware that they weren’t Puma. They were red and white and...I got them home and I still loved the shoe but wasn’t crazy about the fit and decided I would go back to Foot Locker and see if I could find what I originally thought I had...the Pumas. Got there and...no Pumas. I looked around for a bit and then tried on a smaller size of the Adidas. Still not happy I walked around again and thats when I came upon the lil boys section. Asked if I could fit into a size and the sales person said...Yes!!! Music to my ears because the sneakers were $69...what??? My dream of red and white shoes fulfilled - yessss!!!
2. Naked Classic Perforated Reeboks - I am just now Googling what the Naked website is all about, because I’ve never heard of them and why??? Why did I do it??? Oh man focus. I was on my way to Dogpound and every time I go I pass this store called Concepts. From the window it seems like it would be a men’s store - t-shirts and sneakers. One day on my way to class I decide to stop in - I had a lil bit of time before class started so...I walk in and take a look at the t-shirts and the sneakers but then notice there was more around a corner and the more included women's shoes - yahoo! I really wanted a pair of white on whites but didn’t really want Stan Smith’s. I now that they are a classic sneaker - kinda like Converse (see below) but - so many people have them. These white on whites have so much character - they are perforated for one and each shoe has a different color Reebok logo on it - one in oxblood and the other in green. Oh and how am I forgetting the same thing happens on the back of the shoe NAKED in oxblood on one foot and on the other foot its in army green as well. I feel super happy with my purchase. I was almost late to class, which would have earned me 50 burpees but...it may have been worth the purchase.
3. Converse - Not much to say about these bad boys other than...I needed a new pair so...You can’t go wrong with these - ever!
